Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of belimitless.com and the belimitless mobile app for iOS and Android, together referred to as the services. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the services.

There is no charge, no subscription, and no paywall. There are no user accounts. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, and the services may be suspended or discontinued without notice.

All essays, quotes, images, typography selections, and design on the services are the property of belimitless and Gurbaksh Chahal, or are used under license, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law.

Fonts used in the services are licensed from their respective foundries and may not be extracted or reused.

• Read, save, and share the writing for personal, non-commercial use.
• Quote short excerpts with clear attribution to belimitless and a link back to the original essay.
• Share links, quote cards, and screenshots on social platforms.

• Republish essays in full, whether on a website, newsletter, or aggregator, without written permission.
• Use the content to train machine learning models, or scrape the services at scale, without written permission.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the content or the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, or attempt to access parts of the services you were not granted access to.
• Interfere with the services, including probing, overloading, or circumventing rate limits and security measures.
• Remove or obscure attribution, copyright notices, or branding.

If you enable notifications in the app, you will receive alerts for new essays and, if enabled, one daily inspiration message. Delivery depends on Apple, Google, and network conditions, and cannot be guaranteed. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app's Settings screen or in your device settings.

The writing on belimitless reflects personal experience and opinion. It is commentary, not business, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Decisions you make after reading are your own.

The services link to and embed third-party content, including social posts and videos. That content belongs to its owners and is governed by their terms. Linking to something is not an endorsement of it, and belimitless is not responsible for third-party content or sites.

The mobile app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use is also subject to those stores' terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms, have no obligation to provide support for the app, and are not responsible for the app or its content.

The services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation is not warranted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, belimitless and Gurbaksh Chahal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the services. Because the services are provided free of charge, total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred United States dollars.

Use of the services is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what is collected and how to have it deleted.

These terms may be revised. The effective date at the top will be updated, and continued use of the services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California.
