Life has always been a journey, not a race for me. Technology has done its job by connecting us, but it has also made us live two different lives. We read tweets, scroll through social feeds, watch timed posts, read headlines and that’s how we gather information about society and the people we supposedly care about. The truth is somewhat hidden. We never really know how a person is truly feeling. We’ve de-sensitized our lives from what really matters, almost living in a simulated life that we portray through technology. Just ask yourself…how many times have we truly asked someone we cared about, “How are you feeling?”

We’re born with no set agenda. Whether you like it or not, when you’re born, your family is picked for you. And, the decisions you make, the friends you make, the choices and the mistakes you make are entirely your decision. We make every decision. We make some great ones and we naturally make mistakes as humans. We need to forgive ourselves for the past and march forward. Life will test you, use you, test your faith, your relationships and you will get hurt along the way. But, you will come out stronger. As I truly believe what we give to the world is what we get back. We may not get it back at the time we want. That’s just up to Karma’s time clock.

Everyone eventually dies alone. But if you mean something to someone. If you help someone or love someone, and even a single person remembers you, then maybe you never really die at all?

Treat life like a melody. Let people say whatever they like but stick to your own convictions. It’s the best medicine. Let time dictate when the world will become yours. They say, “Have faith in this fellow or that person,” but I say, “Have faith in GOD and yourself,” they are the only two that matter in this world. Conviction and Faith are the best melodies you can share with this world. The rest is just noise.

Success and age teach you one thing. The more successful you become, the lonelier it can become. Noise becomes amplified. Life becomes a pyramid. The closer you get to the top the fewer people you will see. People may want a piece of you and judge your life by your bank account, while the number who ask, “How are you feeling?” shrinks.

At that point in life, return to GOD. Embrace Him, embrace your convictions, and embrace the silence. Let the rest become noise.
